FurHowler™ is a women owned business based in Colorado where I live with my other half, stepchildren and 4 furry children. The name FurHowler came from my fur babies and their howling when I leave them. 

As it is with most great companies, FurHowler™  was created out of necessity. We had just purchased a new house with a sliding glass door to the backyard for them to potty that didn’t have the doggie door installed yet. I had foot surgery shortly after and couldn’t walk. I was able crawl and hobble, but very slowly. As a result, I didn’t always make it downstairs in time to let the pups out and accidents would happen. Additionally, one of our male dogs is a marker, so I decided to order some wraps and doggie diapers. 

I tried several brands, but they just weren’t working. The problems we faced were: 

• The dogs wiggling out of them
• The Velcro was ruining anything washed with them
•  The Velcro failed to adhere after just a few washes• They weren’t eco-friendly. When the Velcro wore out, I’d had to purchase a whole new wrap 
• I questioned the sanitary factor as some smelled even after washing them
•  The biggest and most concerning problem was the elastic edging of the wraps. It was cutting into their skin causing injury! 

So, we decided to create a completely new wrap that put the care, comfort, and well-being of animals first and foremost!

As we’ve embarked on this journey, we’ve customized our wraps to be comfortable, eco-friendly, reusable, anti-microbial, making suitable for all types of bodily fluids.  Our wraps can be used for post-operative procedures, potty training, traveling, incontinence, piddling when excited, and marking.

We’ve always had a deep love for our pets and want to make their lives more comfortable during difficult times, and with this product we have!
